“There is something magical about giving. When you give, you receive."

To mitigate the impact of Niger State’s coronavirus-ailed economic discomfort on vulnerable communities, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa is providing palliatives and Ramadan packages to communities, less privileged, widows, and orphans.

With the month of Ramadan becoming increasingly mainstream, it's important to remember that in its spirit, the Holy Month is about generosity. This is where Sen. Sani Musa steps in, launching a wide array of initiatives across his constituency to help the needy throughout the month.

The food items, which included bags of rice, Gallons of oil, noodles, rice condiments, and bags of maize, were distributed to various widows and needy in Niger State. Local Governments such as Munya, Paiko, Tafa, and Suleja have already started receiving the Palliatives/Ramadan Package while the other Local Governments will soon receive theirs which will be distributed to the target communities and individuals accordingly.

Sen. Sani Musa urged Nigerlites to seize this opportunity in remembrance of Allah and beseech Allah's Rahma upon humanity, to lift this Covid-19 pandemic from us. Adding that, it is our duty as citizens and Muslims to remember to share what we have of food and provisions with the poor and destitute, who must be facing more hardships in the face of Covid-19. For their part, the beneficiaries expressed appreciation over the donated food items adding that it has eased their hardship while assuring Sen. Sani Musa that the items would be properly utilized and would go a long way.
